Planner Highlights
Well I love Hycroft so anytime I get to be there is a treat. This was a lovely mix of cultures in a non overpowering way. The groom is Persian and the Bride is Jewish. They didn’t want the ceremony to be overly religious so they opted for a lovely civil ceremony, but incorporated a Chuppah and a Sofreh into the plans to honour their heritage! It was so authentic! It was the perfect way to acknowledge their families and pave their own way forward together.

Planner’s Perspective
Taryn had a very specific vision in how the day would come together and I truly feel that we were able to give that to her. It felt great knowing she could put her trust in me and alleviate the stress she was feeling before she hired me. Both the bride and groom were super busy completing their doctoral studies at McGill University so they had a lot going on! But even with all the work they had to commit towards school they still found the time to think about the things that mattered to them. The groom loves red roses so the incorporation of red was very important to Taryn. This design plan brought unexpected pops of colour and romance to the terrace at Hycroft.
