Chrissie joined DreamGroup as an Associate Planner in 2018 and has been taking the event industry by storm since then. With over 20 years of experience in the film and television industry events, Chrissie has an abundance of talents and experience in planning and producing all calibers and styles of events.

In the Spring of 2020, Chrissie partnered as Creative Director and lead stylist with DreamGroup Founding Planner, Genève McNally, to startup BridalStyle Vancouver a fabulous bridal fashion + beauty resource for the trendy and stylish Vancouver Bride.

From film premieres and industry parties, to private events held at select film festivals “” including the notorious Cannes & Sundance Film Festivals “” Chrissie’s planning experiences are vast and filled with awesome stories and colorful people! “I’m never intimidated by high expectations or big ideas! I love thinking about how to up the ante and make an event really stand out.”

“Planning weddings and private events is my passion and where I am afforded the opportunity to incorporate both my love of bringing together families and couples in celebration of their commitment with my passion for producing incredibly memorable experiences!” Chrissie not only plans weddings but also works with her clients as a fashion stylist. “Working with my clients to help guide them in finding the perfect wedding day look is SO much fun. As the lead stylist for BridalStyle Vancouver I have connections with all the best boutiques and designers in Vancouver and I love connecting my clients with all the creative talents in Vancouver! I don’t only plan weddings but fabulous outfits too!”

Chrissie adores unique, elaborate, creative events & wedding plans where couples are looking to do something authentic and nontraditional! She specializes in destination, multi-day weddings as well as elaborate luxury affairs but also enjoys all different types of weddings. “Thinking “outside the box” has alwaysbeen my thing. Whether you are going for West Coast chic, luxury ballroom or retro rocker glam – I will always work hard to elevate any vibe so that my clients have a wedding like you have never seen before!”

When we started planning our wedding, we were still unsure with Covid restrictions still in place, but Chrissie gave us the best advice to navigate through that and put our minds at ease. Reflecting on our Wedding event we now view our investment on a wedding planner (Chrissie) to be the single most important piece of our wedding being a success. We had a wonderful experience for our September wedding at Grouse mountain. We worked with Chrissie and she was exactly what we were looking for. She was high energy, creative, organized, professional, and fun! Chrissie did a fantastic job recommending vendors that were within budget and style, and kept us organized along the way.

She also did a great job helping us come up with creative ideas for how to make the experience more memorable for guests. Ideas like having a smores pit, bringing in furniture to set up a lounge, and having Polaroids for the guests to take photos with instead of using a photo booth.

Chrissie also did a fantastic job coordinating with all of our vendors throughout the day so we were able to just relax and enjoy the memories without being stressed! After the big day, all of our friends and family commented on how on top of it Chrissie was. And everyone appreciated how she kept the day moving along according to plan, but still ensured that there were fun, organic moments!
