Working with Sydney Power for our September 2024 wedding was truly a perfect experience. From our first consultation meeting, we knew she would be the perfect person to bring our vision to life. As an out-of-town couple, it was important to have someone we could trust to help keep things on track during the process. Sydney was very responsive and provided more value than we could have imagined. She is so plugged into the industry and gave amazing recommendations for vendors, as well as insider info that saved us so much time and money. The best money we ever spent was hiring Sydney for our wedding planning process.

We went back and fourth on whether we wanted to hire a wedding coordinator for our summer camp wedding weekend. Thank goodness we decided to hire Sydney from DreamGroup – a total game changer.
The minute she showed up on site for Friday, I felt myself finally feel comfortable enough to let go – I trusted she knew what to do and would take it from there. She did NOT disappoint. I was able to relax and enjoy the rest of the weekend with my favorite people. She helped answer guest questions, set up table and reception décor, direct our friends and family with where to put things, and eased my mind on the day of the wedding. She even walked around our dance floor to hand out late night pizza. 🙂
The best part… it felt like an extra (really organized!!) friend joined us for our big day! She was so friendly, bubbly, and comfortable with everyone. I can thank Sydney and Kate for ensuring our wedding day was the best day ever!! Thanks for helping put our vision into reality!

We had the pleasure of working with Sydney for my wedding that we planned in 4 months! We hit it off right off the bat and she understood my personality and was able to tailor her way of communicating and planning to me. Sydney understood my vision and truly made it come to life.
She made the whole wedding process easy, she was always available for me to talk to, ask questions, ease my mind, or just check in. Sydney was able to help me make adjustments as needed and help communicate with all my vendors which was not always the easiest task! We chose the full planning package and have no regrets!! It’s a big commitment to decide if we needed a planner, but it was the best decision we made for the whole year. Sydney helped us start the planning process a year before the wedding, which meant we could relax and know that we could trust her timeline of what needed booking and when. You only get to have one wedding in your life, so knowing that everything is organised takes so much stress away and allowed us to fully enjoy the day (and the year of planning!).
It really was the perfect day, Sydney found us the best vendors, she fulfilled our special requests, she kept everything and everyone updated and always answered any of our questions big or small. We really debated on hiring a planner for our wedding; and let me tell you – it was the greatest decision we made. Sydney Power was a friend from the first day we met on a zoom meet and greet. She rolled with our ever-changing punches over 20 months, and eased every irrational anxiety and worry that came up.
The best compliment we received from a guest after the wedding was how relaxed we looked and how much fun we were having on the day compared to other weddings they had been to. We fully credit this to Sydney (and her assistant on the day Laura who also is a GEM).
Not only did Sydney help us find and pick the most amazing vendor dream team, she helped us navigate family dynamics, last minute venue layout changes, fixed problems before we even knew there was one, and truly became a friend in the process.
On the wedding day she was somehow everywhere all at once, setting up our perfect reception space, handling all our vendors and deliveries, and also always there to make sure my dress was perfectly fluffed. A week post wedding she is still making sure we are doing well and helping us wrap up all the post-wedding to-dos.
We could not have imagined our day without Sydney being a part of it and I cannot recommend her or DreamGroup enough.

We interviewed 6 different companies before deciding on DreamGroup and we are so happy we chose them. Our coordinator, Sydney Power, was outstanding and such a joy to work with. No matter what curveballs we threw at her (even some at the very last minute), Sydney handled it with ease. Our wedding day required us to go all over the GVRD and she coordinated the transportation and timeline to perfection.
With Sydney as our coordinator, we definitely felt anything was possible. We always felt comfortable and at ease because we knew Sydney had our backs and could fix any problems that arose. We have no problem recommending DreamGroup and especially Sydney!!! As a bonus, we definitely come out feeling we got great value for our money.

Sydney was indispensable for my wedding. The bride got COVID the day before and naturally, things were very hectic reorganizing everything into a distanced ceremony in only six hours. Sydney had my back through the whole thing making sure that we covered all of our bases. She even woke up at 6 am on the day to make sure that we got everything done.
When she arrived at the ceremony she didn’t stop moving, making sure that everything that we had changed happened the way it was supposed to. She covered a lot of ground considering how much time we had to change everything.
We feared the worst for what our wedding would become but with Sydney’s help, it was even better than I thought it could be. She is organized and determined and even before it hit the fan she was easy to communicate with and helpful. I would hire her again anytime!
