We are excited to welcome Christie back to the planning team after a hiatus in planning while pursuing other life adventures! When someone is as good at her job as Christie is, you can’t wait to have her on the planning roster.  Afterall, DreamGroup is known for our “ridiculously amazing” wedding planning experiences and one of the main reasons for that reputation is our incredible planners!

Christie enjoys supporting all types of weddings, but her favourite ones are the last minute whirlwind plans that require assertiveness, great connections, and lots of trust!

What do you love most about planning weddings Christie?

I truly love creating a detailed timeline and managing the logistics of a well-planned event. My passion lies in helping couples fully enjoy their special day, knowing that both the big and small details are taken care of, allowing them to be completely present in the moment.

Choosing Christie Laing to be our wedding planner was the best decision we have made. We had only around three month to plan for our wedding, yet the iteration of our wedding was a dream come true for both of us. Our friends and family were all amazed with the decorations and proceedings of our wedding, and many expressed that our wedding was one of the best they’ve attended. Everything was well planned and went smoothly on the wedding day, and all these was due to Christie and her team’s dedicated hard work. The entire wedding planning with Christie was relaxed, enjoyable, and productive. For every question and idea, we and our family came up, Christie always have something to answer back and fulfill our vision. She was always supportive to our decisions and eager to listen to our ideas. To simply put, our wedding would not have occur so perfectly without Christie’s help and suggestions. Thank you very much Christie!

Christie Laing was a dream come true for us! The moment we met her we instantly felt comfortable and excited about all the amazing opportunities for our big day! She made sure that we never felt overwhelmed by the amount of work in front of us and understood how important every little decision was for us. When emotions got high and we were trying to make decisions about the wedding, Christie always stayed calm, cool and collected. She made it easy for my parents to share their vision and met them when and where was convenient for them. When something didn’t go just right with a vendor, Christie would take on sorting it out for us. When we had any type of question and just needed someone experienced to bounce and idea off, Christie was there.

I am a designer so had big ideas for my wedding vision and she new just the vendors to connect us with to make it happen. She supported us in executing our dream wedding down to every detail. I can’t describe how overwhelmed I felt when I walked down the isle, danced into the reception or finished off the night on the stage singing “Journey” with the band. Our day was everything I dreamed. So many of our guests have shared with us that our wedding was the best wedding they had ever been too. And we think so too! 🙂 Thank you, Christie!

Christie did a phenomenal job helping us pin down our timeline and in communication with all of our vendors for the day of! It left us with very little stress for the details, which was a huge relief. Not to mention, the only thing that could have gone awry, Christie swooped in with her sewing wizard skills and helped sew back on a popped button! Thank you to Christie and DreamGroup for helping make our wedding day vision a reality and making it our best day ever!

Christie is the best wedding planner out there! We worked together on our dream wedding for over a year. During that time, she had coordinated everything and pushed us forward with detailed schedule. She kept us in good shape and timing and kept very good track of all the expenses occurred during this time. Without Christie our wedding would not flow so smoothly. She is always very patient and excited about the upcoming events and encouraged us when we feel frustrated. She always acts in the best interest of clients and provided us with professional and personal opinions. Our wedding had 75% out of town guests and Christie was able to coordinate hotels, transportation, vendors all perfectly. She even added a table for us contacted all the vendors to make necessary changes 3 days before the wedding. Christie you are amazing and I would strongly recommend everyone to use you as wedding planner!

We had Christie Laing as our wedding planner and we were WOWED by her.  She made sure that our wedding was completely stress free, that it was all about having fun and that the most important thing is that it was about us. From the planning to the execution, Christie made everything so easy for us. We almost forgot we were even getting married. All we needed to do was say YES or NAY and show up at the wedding.
