Ellie’s Quest for Equestrian
What were the highlights of Ellie’s Quest for Equestrian Bat Mitzvah Alexa?
I loved the way the decor turned out! Ellie’s mom, Abby, had an idea in her mind of what she wanted, but she didn’t know how to execute it. Enter me! I helped her further define her vision, and with the help of the amazing team at Bespoke Decor, we created something truly magical for Ellie’s Bat Mitzvah. Stanley Park Pavilion was an unexpected venue for a Bat Mitzvah and offered the perfect vibe for the “Elegant Equestrian” theme. I think we did a great job balancing an elegant feel while giving Ellie a vibe she loved!.

What was the theme for Ellie’s Bat Mitzvah?
When Abby first hired me, she made it clear she wanted it to be equestrian themed, not rodeo! Ellie is an avid horseback rider so the theme spoke true to her personality and interests! Abby DID NOT want it to look like a barn, but rather a classy equestrian club if you will. We incorporated pops of lavender (which is Ellie’s favourite colour) with uplighting and florals.

What was the most successful part of the day?
Seeing the family’s reaction when they first walked into the venue! They were so happy which made me so happy! I don’t think they could really visualize what it would look like, but as soon as they walked in their faces lit up and they said how happy (and maybe relieved – haha!) they were. They kept telling me how pretty everything looked.
