Jake on Tech Deck
What were the highlights of this event Olivia?
This was a fun event for me to work on! The Loft at Earls is a really fresh and fun space in which to host a party and so many people know and trust the Earls brand which is a great place to build from. I had previously supported this family with their older son Liam’s Bar Mitzvah a few years back during Covid. There were many restrictions in place at the time so it was so nice to be able to do one WITH dancing and no masks, etc. Liam joined Jake for the Hora so he finally got to experience it (only 3 years late) which was very sweet. We did a cocktail style reception which I think works great for Bar Mitzvahs as I don’t know many 12-13 year olds that like to sit through a dinner.

What was the theme, colours, and overall feeling?
Jake is a pretty cool kid. We created “Tech Deck” skate ramps as centerpieces which doubled as a fun activity for the kids! We rented vintage arcade machines which were as popular with the parents as they were with the kids. There was a magician, cotton candy, a candy bar, a photo booth, and lots of dancing! It was a fun night!

What was the most successful part of the day?
It was a really fun night and everyone had such a great time! Rachel (the MC working with Jordan Zwicker) is great! The kids loved her and she kept the energy super high and the kids interested and engaged with dance competitions. We anticipated at 10:00pm end time, but everyone was having so much fun the party went on to Midnight! A sign of a great party!
