This wedding was held in the Seaspan Gallery at the Polygon Gallery on the North Shore. It’s a gorgeous backdrop for any wedding with the modern feel of the gallery and the stunning ocean and city views. Beautiful in the day and evening! A blank canvas to create any look a couple is going for. It was all Romance! Romance! Romance! at The Polygon for Kelly and Kim.

What Is the Chinese Tea Ceremony?

The Chinese tea ceremony is conducted on the day of the wedding and sees the bride and groom serve tea to their parents, in-laws, and other family members. Symbolizing the union of two families, it is a meaningful part of the day, typically taking place inside the couple’s respective family homes, but in this case took place at The Pinnacle at the Pier Hotel. The ceremony and reception were held in the same room so we partnered with Ruffled Rose to provide floral and décor services for both knowing that we wanted a stunning, romantic ceremony that could transition into a beautiful evening reception with ease.

The bride wanted a light, airy, soft, romantic feel to juxtapose the clean, sleek coolness of the gallery. Ruffled Rose created a very romantic, soft, dreamy feel for both the ceremony & reception. Beautiful white florals with a touch of blush, a round arbor and 2 chandeliers anchored the ceremony. This later became a stunning backdrop for the sweetheart table. Reel Silks draped the ceiling with white drapery panels and twinkle lights that really softened the room and created a “starry night” feel in the evening.

Guests enjoyed refreshing cocktails on the Terrace provided by Lavish Liquid while enjoying the city skyline views! It doesn’t get much better than that!
