From romance and flowers to cowboy boots and live country music! A planner is a planner where passion aligns! In 2022, DreamGroup Founding Planner Genève McNally, stepped out of her comfort zone to plan an impressive and thrilling 40th birthday party celebration for cherished client Matt Lewis. This Country Music Concert, aptly named Mattchella, was held at the iconic Commodore Ballroom on the Granville strip.
Mattchella was a magical night to remember!
This party was almost 3 years in the making and planned TWICE due to a Covid postponement. Genève worked with trusted friend Kelly Brock of @vanhattanent who managed the artists and show production side of this massive celebration with lots of exciting moving parts both on and off stage!

The crowd pleasing Uproar Dance Team (BC lions dance squad) shared their talents and got everyone hyped up! Their flash mob performance was a highlight for all who attended.
Incredible Performances by @mackenziepmusic @aaronpritchett @dallassmithmusic that converted even the most “country music” resistant individuals.
The best surprise of the night was the involvement of Mike “Bubbles” Smith of Trailer Park Boys as the most entertaining and colorful Emcee one could hope for! Thank you @bubblestpb the most charismatic and funny man you will meet!

The BC Lions Uproar Dance Team entertained and got everyone in the mood!

The incredible team at Bespoke Décor totally understood the assignment! They hit this design concept out of the park transforming the Commodore into one country music experience guests won’t soon forget!
Airbrushed tattoos were a hit by Tattoos for Now! There were a variety of custom tattoos and guests were having them brushed on some very risqué areas! Wink Wink!
Even the DreamGroup on day team got into the spirit! Costumes were mandatory!
Food was on point thanks to the Commodore culinary team!
Vancouver’s very own Dr. Strangelove Band packed the dance floor!
Portrait Guestbook offered guests the opportunity to take a little piece of the fun home!
Because everyone loves a before and after check out the room as it was being made Mattchella ready!
