In our industry we sometimes create Styled Shoots to give us Vendors an opportunity to be creative and collaborative. Every once in a while a wedding comes along that is so cool and stylish that you’d swear it was an editorial or styled shoot. This was that. Kylee Wofford and Fraser Maki exude effortlessly stylish vibes through and through and are the genuinely sweetest couple. DreamGroup planner Jill Bryan worked with Kylee & Fraser (and their cute puppy Rodeo) to help them bring their vision to life on February 15, 2025. Join us as we take a look back at “My Funny Valentine” as artfully captured by the super talented and creative Sammie Chan. Jill, what was your favourite part of this wedding?

The Bride! Kylee is probably the sweetest, kindest, most genuine and thoughtful human I’ve ever met. Her vision and aesthetic was so perfect and I had the most wonderful time getting to know her and supporting her vision. I also loved all the thoughtful little details from the match boxes with a photo of their pup Rodeo, to the Deck of Cards used as the “Guestbook”, to the cutest yummiest red velvet wedding cake from Le Gateau Bakeshop.

What was the theme, colours, and overall feeling?

Romantic Valentine’s Day. Think velvet, bows, tapered candles, vintage style red velvet cake by Le Gateau Bakeshop. The most stunning unique florals in deep burgundys and reds from Anonymous Floral. It was so unique and on point with the theme without being a cliche.

Kylee and Fraser had these fabulous little match boxes made with a regal photo of their sweet puppy Rodeo featured!

Le Gateau Bakeshop created this most perfect red velvet cake to compliment the theme! Seriously though, how adorable is this cake?

What was the most successful part of the day?

Mastering the Art of the Wedding Day Schedule! Kylee and Fraser had a jam packed day full of beautiful and fun activities! From the cocktail hour with the couple’s private signing ceremony, to family portraits, and the room reveal. We made it all happen and Kylee and Fraser were thrilled. I also loved how the couple went straight into their first dance from their grand entrance. We had a surprise trumpet trio Cookin’ with Brass that surprised everyone during the chorus of “Can’t take my eyes off of you” Jersey Boys style. It had always been a dream of Kylee’s and we executed it flawlessly!
