Fashionably Vintage Romance at Swaneset
Weddings are usually beautiful and feel special—but this one felt curated. Set at Swaneset Bay Resort & Country Club, Kamille and John’s celebration unfolded like a dream of thoughtfully designed moments—each space and moment revealing its own “wow,” each detail intentionally chosen. As a fashion designer with a sharp eye for composition, Kamille brought her creative vision to life in every corner of the day. The décor featured vintage-inspired touches paired with rich pops of deep burgundy, creating a warm, layered atmosphere that felt romantic and elevated—never overdone, just perfectly styled. Let’s revisit this vibrant and dramatic day Fashionably Vintage Romance at Swaneset as beautifully captured with an editorial eye by Neda Photography.
The movement, emotion, and atmosphere captured by Shyah K Films (don’t miss the highlight film shared below) — forever keeping the celebration alive! Behind the scenes, The Love Content Co. captured those candid, in-between moments in real time.

It’s John’s Turn…

The “First Look Moment” is when the reality sets in… “You’re going to be my wife!”

Wedding Theme + Colour Palette: Vintage Romance in Burgundy, Draping & Lace
The theme was clear and cohesive: vintage romance with modern intention.
The design leaned into:
- Rich pops of burgundy for warmth and depth
- Soft draping fabrics for movement and texture
- Delicate lace details woven throughout the styling
- Vintage-inspired touches that felt timeless, not themed
Fino Decor brought the floral and décor vision to life with layered, romantic styling that felt both fashion-forward and inviting. Every room felt cohesive, and yet still had its own personality—exactly the kind of detail work Kamille is known for.
And because Kamille’s sense of style is impeccable, she designed her own dress which was a total moment in itself—elevated, intentional, and effortlessly chic. Beauty for the bride and groom was done by Styled by Alison Sun, creating a polished look that still felt like them.
One of the sweetest personal touches? Photos of their two dogs thoughtfully placed throughout the day. It was playful, meaningful, and guests kept smiling each time they spotted them.

The energy of the day was matched by a team that kept everything moving smoothly. Shawn Miller of Young Hip & Married officiated a ceremony that felt modern, personal, and full of heart, and from there the celebration flowed effortlessly through each moment—supported by an incredible group of vendors who were truly all-in.

A Thank You from the bride, Kamille…
Cayenne is honestly the best wedding decision we made. Having her as our planner/coordinator made the whole wedding process so much less stressful, and she made the day itself as seamless as it could possibly be. She’s outstanding, and we can’t thank her enough for making this the best day of our lives and ensuring that everything important to us get executed in the best way possible.
I could honestly write an essay about how amazing and positive our experience was, but I’ll try to keep it short(ish) LOL. That’s just how much we appreciate everything Cayenne did for us. I’m such an EXTRA BRIDE with endless ideas, but execution was honestly the hardest part. Cayenne guided us through every decision, using her expertise to show us what to prioritize and always offering practical solutions.
I usually enjoy planning, but planning my own wedding turned out to be the most challenging thing ever. We booked the Wedding Day Essentials Service and Cayenne went above and beyond and provided us with way more than we thought. We expected to get in touch with her only a few weeks before the event, but we did online meetings and countless back and forth via emails, and every meeting felt like a boost of progress. She was always quick to respond to our questions, sometimes even faster than us when she was cc’d on vendor emails. Having her expert opinion in real time was such a relief and so reassuring.
We met Cayenne in person for the first time at the rehearsal, and she was just as warm as she was professional. Both our families immediately noticed how amazing and lovely she was and kept saying we were in good hands. She set a relaxed, fun atmosphere while still giving clear and detailed instructions that made everything easy to follow.
On the wedding day, so many things could have gone wrong, but she found alternatives, adjusted the timeline, and made sure everything that was important to us still happened. Seeing how hard she worked to make it all come together was honestly the sweetest thing… Even though we fell behind schedule, she kept everything moving, made sure every activity in our program was included, and ensured we were cared for the entire time.
Cayenne made the biggest difference in our wedding, not just in planning but in how the whole day felt. She felt like a caring sister to me during the wedding, and it feels so nice having someone who’s looking out for you with so much care during the most action-packed day of our lives. We are endlessly grateful for her and can confidently say our wedding would not have been the same without her, not even close and I can’t even imagine.
If the word “Exceptional” were a person, it would be Cayenne. So, if you are looking for a planner or coordinator, trust me: CAYENNE IS THE ONE!!!

The Most Successful Part of the Day: Natural Flow & Beautiful Pacing
The overall flow of the day felt natural and well-paced, allowing each moment to shine without feeling rushed. That balance—structure and ease—is what creates a celebration guests genuinely enjoy while they’re in it.
It also helped to have a professional personality at the mic. With Jeff De Leo as MC, the energy stayed high, transitions felt effortless, and the room always knew what was happening next—without anything feeling overly “announced.”
From ceremony through cocktails and into reception, the day moved smoothly, supported by great logistics (and great humans). Even the thoughtful “extras” made a difference: Boss Limousines kept transportation seamless, Pearl Pix Photo Booth kept guests entertained, and yes—even the couple’s pups were cared for thanks to Rover.

A Planner’s Parting Thoughts… What I Learned: The Power of an Amazing Team
This day reinforced something I’ll always believe: a strong, collaborative vendor team changes everything.
A packed wedding day with multiple spaces and moving pieces simply can’t happen smoothly without true collaboration. This was a day where every vendor showed up ready—supportive, solutions-oriented, and fully invested in the overall experience.
When you have that kind of team, the couple gets to be present. The guests feel cared for. And the entire celebration becomes what it should be: joyful, seamless, and unforgettable.
