Be My Valentine
High school sweethearts, Sarah and Alex, hosted an unforgettable Chinese Valentine’s themed wedding. Thousands of red roses adorned the ballroom at Vancouver’s historic castle in the city, Fairmont Hotel Vancouver. Decadent chandeliers and a custom rose graphic dance floor were highlights! This wedding was the perfect way to say “Be My Valentine”.
DreamGroup’s Brynn Belisle planned a wedding that was grand and impressive — resulting in a super memorable experience not to be forgotten. From dance and musical performances to live sleight of hand magic this wedding was a feast for the senses.
Sarah’s Maison Birks ring was the brightest and largest wedding engagement ring we have ever seen! It was a sight to behold — one that would have made Elizabeth Taylor envious.

The historic Pacific Ballroom at the Fairmont Hotel Vancouver was transformed by Koncept Event Design into a magical romantic dream for Sarah & Alex.
Guests were treated to live dance performances by Boogaloo Academy & Colours of Dance Academy.
A Planner’s Perspective…
“What we achieved and how everything came together left me with such a feeling of pride. This wedding had a lot of moving parts throughout the day. Our timeline included getting ready photos, first look photos, followed by a luncheon. A church ceremony followed by family photos on the steps was grand and romantic. Sarah and Alex took a private horse & carriage ride to Stanley Park Rose garden for photos with guest shuttles in tow. An elaborate cocktail reception kicked off the evening’s festivities before the couple’s grand entrance into the ballroom. The night continued to play out with a decadent multi course dinner, games, dress changes, professional dance entertainment, and a choreographed first dance. The cake cutting and bouquet toss completed the festivities. Despite a jam packed schedule, the end result was a incredible celebratory day pulled off in record form!”
