Vibrant Love at Shaughnessy Golf & Country Club

Lindsay & Peter tied the knot on a beautiful summer day at the esteemed Shaughnessy Golf & Country Club. Vibrant love was everywhere from the special moments planned to honour those who were no longer present to the colourful choice of florals to the bride’s contagious and charming smile! Lindsay’s joyous smile literally lit up the room! As planned with DreamGroup Planner Olivia Woolwich.

The florals were so beautiful! Shades of pink, lots of floral! The groom’s family has quite a fond attachment to Shaughnessy Golf & Country Club which is why they booked it as their wedding venue. Lindsay worked enthusiastically with GIF and Reel Silks to make it extra special!

Planner Highlights:

Lindsay and Peter had filmed some of the special moments in lead up to their wedding — i.e. groom asking bride’s parents permission to marry their daughter, a surprise engagement, asking bridesmaids and groomsmen to be their chosen people, etc. They then gave that footage to the videographer — The Augusts — who creatively compiled it into a short video that was shown on the day. Another highlight was that the first dance and both parent dances were choreographed offering a very elegant and cohesive flow to the dancing. The Father-Daughter Dance was a hit!

Planner’s Perspective:

The best moment of the day for me was when Lindsay expressed how happy she was with everything! She was on her way out but refused to leave without thanking me (again) and was in tears when she told me the day was everything she wanted it to be. That meant a lot to me as we had several challenges to overcome that day behind the scenes and thankfully no one was the wiser thanks to quick thinking and a stellar vendor team.
